1. From Concept to Craftsmanship
Every design at Mafaza Living starts with an idea, which is frequently a straightforward paper sketch or a tablet computer design. As a custom project derived from the original Truro Modular L-Shaped Sofa, the Truro 2-Pieces L-Shaped Sofa is no exception. The client requested a version that was more space-efficient and customized. With comfort and aesthetics in mind, our design team started modifying the modular construction, armrest positioning, and proportions.
2. Precision in Every Detail
Following approval of the design, the production process begins. Every certified teak piece is expertly cut and put together.
One of the most significant modifications from the original design has been made at this point: the armrests, which were before independent cushions, are now incorporated into the frame of the sofa. This gives it a sleeker, more contemporary appearance without sacrificing comfort.
Additionally, an ottoman that had no armrests at first has been placed to one side, adding functionality and visual balance. The sofa has been reduced to two primary components from its original four modules (one 3-seater and one ottoman):
- On the right side is a two-seater with an armrest.
- One long sofa with an ottoman and a left-hand armrest.
3. The Result: Modern Comfort, Personalized
The outcome is a sophisticated, character-driven L-shaped sofa made of premium foam and a solid teak wood frame, with soft, light gray upholstery.
